For TeraOps, an Account Executive role is a high-stakes, consultative sales position focused on AI Unit Economics and Cloud Cost Optimization. The primary mission is to help technology leaders scale their AI products profitably by eliminating "cloud waste" often referred to by the company as the "Hidden 60%" of the cloud spend.
What You Will Do
- Pipeline Generation: Target and engage technology leaders at high-growth AI companies and enterprises to build a robust pipeline of potential "Savings Audits".
- Consultative Value Selling: Shift the conversation from technical features to financial impact. You will explain how TeraOps can turn "Black Box" AI costing such as hidden token, GPU, and RAG pipeline costs into measurable gross margin.
- Strategic Deal Management: Manage the full sales cycle from initial discovery and technical validation to final contract negotiation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal "TechPods" and engineering teams to ensure proposed remediation plans are safe and won't break client production environments.
- Market Intelligence: Provide continuous feedback to the product team on emerging customer needs regarding AI COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) and unit economics clarity.
Key Qualifications
- Enterprise Tech Experience: Proven track record in B2B SaaS sales, specifically within cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or FinOps (Financial Operations).
- AI/Cloud Literacy: Strong understanding of cloud consumption models, AI infrastructure (tokens, vector DBs, GPUs), and the common causes of operational cost drift.
- Business Acumen: Ability to translate complex technical jargon into clear ROI narratives for C-level executives (CIOs, CFOs) and product owners.
- Tools & Process: Mastery of CRM systems for accurate pipeline forecasting and a disciplined approach to solution-selling methodologies.
